The Knast: A listed building from 1906 - former woman‘s-prison in the Southwest of Berlin, 20 minutes away by car from world famous Kurfürstendamm. The Knast has been softly renovated, inkeeping with the former purpose of the builidng, all interior and exterior facades remain in their original look. However, behind heavy doors, massive locks and keys, each room and suite has been fitted and furnished with utmost care and attention to detail. This small, bespoke and refined hotel will open in Q2 2019 and will feature 13 rooms & suites, a fine dining restaurant, by Michelin starred chef David Kikillus, a sublime white & brown Bar with a one of a kind selection of hand picked spirits as well as a cava hosting the hotel‘s wine cellar. The Knast furthermore is a much sought after location for cultural and/or dinig events and has starred as a movie setting in numerous national and international TV and film productions.
