Location
Spread over a territory of 21 hectares the beach resort The Chedi Muscat is located in Al Ghubra, within the sultanate of Muscat just a 20-minutes drive away from the country’s capital of the same name. The top location within reach of various tourist attractions, near the financial centre of the Emirate and next to three extraordinary golf courses the hotel makes a perfect destination for both, vacationers and business travelers. From Muscat international airport the resort can be reached by a 15-minutes car ride.
Rooms & Suites
The five star beach resort offers 158 rooms which are divided into five different room categories. The entry level category is called Serai Rooms. Serai Rooms offer 33 m² of space and breathtaking views towards the Hajar mountains in the back of the resort. 52 Deluxe Rooms offer 39 m² of space and can be found in the wonderful gardens of the resort offering nice views on lush greenery, mountains and artificial ponds. Business travelers appreciate the four Deluxe Club Rooms which are of the same size as the Deluxe Rooms but are located next to the Club Lounge and offer complimentary services like minibar, laundry service, airport transfers and daily newspaper. Four Deluxe Club Terrace Rooms are equal to the Deluxe Club Rooms but additionally feature a 14 m² big balcony. The most luxurious travel experience awaits guests of the 38 Chedi Club Suites. These suites are 67 m² of size and offer a separate living room. The biggest room category of The Chedi Muscat can accommodate up to four persons (two adults, two children). Without any doubt the generous bathroom’s eye-catcher is its bathtub which is embedded into the floor.
Restaurant & Bars
Irresistible culinary delights from the Arabian, Asian, Indian, Japanese, Malayan and Mediterranean cuisine are offered at six restaurants. Unforgettable fine-dining experiences can be enjoyed in the restaurants or open-air (depending on the season). Particular popular is enjoying freshly-caught fish and seafood at the beachside. The highlights of the international restaurant are the four show kitchens. In total two lounges invite guests to relax.
Spa & Wellness
The wellness centre stretches over an area of 800 m² and offers 13 spa suites. It’s a true sanctuary, an oasis of quietness and relaxation. The spa specializes in typical Balinese wellness treatments. A focus on aromatherapy, knowledge about herbs and the holistic approach of Ayurveda techniques is reflected everywhere within the hotels spa menu. Of course the spa also offers a sauna and a steam bath (granting separation of genders).

The two conference rooms Salalah and Nizwa offer 102/51 m² of space and ideal conference facilities for diverse event formats with up to 50 people.
